Welcome to the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences' online submission and peer review system. New Submission Requirements The Character Count Calculator tool has been replaced with a length estimation tool designed to provide authors with an easier and more effective estimation of whether their manuscript fits within the print publication requirements of no more than 6 journal pages for research articles. Authors submitting Microsoft Word files will be required to type "\body" (without quotes) at the beginning of their text then follow the existing format of a research article. Authors of publication-ready submissions are now required to provide a still image from each video file submitted. Please keep your video files to 10MB or less and your still images to 5MB or less. Submitting to PNAS using LaTeX Authors submitting LaTeX files are encouraged to use the PNAS LaTeX template. The template plus associated class (.cls) and style (.sty) files, instructions for use, and sample files are also available. Please login below.
